Roman Sakin was born in 1976 in Kursk. In 1997 has graduated from the Art Industrial College of Vasnetsov, then in 2005 Sakin has finished his studies in the department of sculpture in Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry. Sakin was a two times nominee for the Kandinsky prize both for the nomination Best project (in 2009 with the work Les(Forest) and in 2012 with the project master of the third category). On the 20th of October 2015 Roman’s sculpture Signal tower was installed in the courtyard of the Tretyakov Gallery.
