Victor Umnov (1931-2022) - Russian artist. In 1955 he graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute. He studied at an art studio under the guidance of the famous book graphic artist M.P. Klyachko (1954-1957). He participated in art exhibitions since 1962.
Victor Umnov is the author of works in which there is a dialogue between visual and verbal. He wrote a book of aphorisms that served as the impetus for the creation of an art series based on the WORD.
